GREAT Morning Everybody!
“Begin at once to live and count each separate day as a separate life.” – Seneca
As many of you might know, Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna tragically passed away last week at the ages of 41 and 13. 5 others also sadly passed in the accident. I still can’t believe it! I pray that his family heals fully and I wish them peace, love, and serenity during this very difficult time!
This heartbreaking event reminded me just how short life really is and that we have no idea when our number will be called! Everything can be gone in the blink of an eye! This is why it is so important to live life how we see fit. To do things that excite us. To take chances. To stop comparing ourselves to others. To make time for the people and events that bring joy to our lives. It is so easy to take life for granted and assume we are promised tomorrow, but all we have is today, this single breath we are taking right now! Absolutely nothing else is promised.
I’d like this short message to serve as a reminder to do the things you love while you still can. Fully embrace the here and now. Forgive often and with purpose. Focus on today and how you can do your best to live it with purpose, passion, and intention. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Call somebody you haven’t talked to in a while and tell them you love them! Remember that this is ALL a gift. Focus on what you intend to create more of in your life. If you focus on fear, fear will grow. If you focus on love, love will grow. Where you place your attention is where your energy grows. Enjoy each and every moment of life. Every challenge or struggle is an opportunity to grow and discover something new about yourself.
Theophrastus was once quoted saying “time is the most valuable thing a man can spend.” He believed that a waste of time is the most extravagant and costly of all expenses.
Our time on earth is limited. Use yours to authentically and purposefully create the world you want to live in!
Enjoy what comes of today!
